John has been involved in photography for over 30 years. From 1983 to 1997 he owned and operated Camera Pro Inc., a retail camera store and photo studio. In 1997, he closed the retail store to concentrate on his photography, especially the fine art. In 2003, he created John Levandoski Fine Art Photography. John has shown and sold his work at local venues throughout northeast Pennsylvania and also at art festivals in PA, NY and NJ.

Club member Elaine Tweedy always wanted to drive along the portion of Route 6 that flows through Northeastern Pennsylvania and give it her own photographic slant.  Along the way she hopes to do her own research and learn more about the little burgs and hamlets that snake off of Route 6 into the Endless Mountains.

Club member Jim Cook shares his Kayaking nightmare with lessons learnt. Share your photographic nightmares in comments below. 

       "I and fellow club member Joe Statuto and our wives were out on the river enjoying a beautiful summer day. The night before had seen a considerable rainfall occur north of us and as the day wore on the river began to rise and become much faster than when we first set out. Photo opportunities were in abundance and I soon spotted a pair of Herons. My first pass after spotting them resulted in a couple of pictures but wanted to get still closer.
