Michael Carey, Member Since 2004
I am a bird behavioral biologist on the faculty of the University of Scranton. All of my bird research is done in the natural habitat, and that is where I like to do most of my photo work too: landscapes, wildlife, macro etc. - whatever catches my eye when I am out shooting. Other than shooting locally, I have a summer cottage in nw Michigan and have been regularly traveling to Central and South America for the past decade.

I know I should move up to a DSLR, but I still currently rely on a Panasonic FZ-100 superzoom for most of my shots.
