About:

Brian Kerr

I am originally from central New Jersey having moved to NEPA in 1996.  I always liked photography but became more involved in dental school.  I was required to purchase a macro setup.  At that time it consisted of a Canon Rebel Elan, Canon 100mm f/2.8 and a ring flash.  This is how I became interested in macro photography.  I went through a series of digital point and shoot cameras.  I currently shoot with a 6D and a T2i.  I still have the macro lens and I have recently added a Canon 24-105 f/4, 17-40mm f/4, a Rokinon 8mm fisheye, new ring flash and a 430 Speedlight. I also have a Sealife 1400 Pro for scuba photos.

I am interested in macro, travel, landscape, underwater and nature photography. Other interests/hobbies include magic, bagpiping, travel, reef aquariums, and  golf to name a few.

I am an orthodontist by profession. I have two daughters Julia and Rachel. I will be married to my fiancé Carolyn this September. She has two daughters Rachel and Lexi.
